Some of the older children told the gathering about the significant roles their grandparents play in their lives. The younger pupils displayed some colourful artwork.
Marie Landy, granny to three of our pupils, bravely agreed to be interviewed by the children. She fielded questions from all over the room about her childhood. She told the pupils about her daily journey to school, chores around the house, trips to Tramore & much more. Interestingly, the Iverk Show meant three days off school for Marie in those days!
Later, as grandparents caught up on the local news with their friends & neighbours, the Parent Association provided tea & cakes for all to enjoy.
