The monthly mass to pray for the intercession of Blessed Edmund Rice in our lives and for his canonisation will take place in Wescourt on Monday, 12 November 2012 at 7.30pm. The members of Callan Co- Operative Society will organise the liturgy for this mass. All are welcome. Please note the change of date.

THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BAZAAR will be held in Windgap Community Centre on
Sunday 9th December at 2.00 p.m. All usual events will take place. As in previous years Christmas Cakes are a speciality at Windgap Bazaar so the usual appeal is being made for cakes for icing. Raffle tickets will be distributed to all houses over the next few weeks.

Thank you for any help!!Learn How to Grow Your Own Vegetables is a 5 week course that will take place in Droichead Family Resource Centre (The Friary) in Callan on Thursday, November 15th and will run for 5 Thursdays and will run from 10.00a.m. -12.00p.m. This course is suitable for beginners or anyone who wants to brush up on their gardening skills. People will learn how to grow vegetables without the use of chemicals. The course will include: Autumn Preparation - composting, mulching, improving soil, crop rotation, nature and wildlife.
