Grandparents have a unique role.
They don’t just connect us to the values, stories and history of our families, but also to the values, stories and history of our community. On Wednesday, 19th February, the pupils of Windgap N.S. invite all grandparents, whether your grandchildren are living near or far, to join us for a celebration in the Community Hall at 1.15 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there! Windgap were honoured for their 2013 Gathering at a Kilkenny County Council reception last Monday in County Hall. The community of Windgap represented by Kate, Tess and Noreen received their hugely deserved Certificates from Chairman Pat Dunphy. Congratulations to all!
