We love to keep all our followers up to date on recent stories and news in W.N.S.
This week we have been practicing loads for Peace Proms as it is coming up on Saturday. We have to be at The Hub at 4.30 for a practice. The show will start at 7 pm. We are very excited.
The 6th class who will be going to St Bridget's or Callan CBS next year have entrance exams on this Saturday too.
There was hurling and camogie training on Monday. Simon Brophy, Denis O'Callaghan and Jimmy Purcell are training the hurlers this year. Mrs O'Shea will be training the camogie team. This week we had Darragh O'Shea on work experience from Callan CBS. He helped with training on Monday.
Ms Doyle was teaching Junior & Senior Infants this week as Mrs Walsh was out sick. Ms Barry was in 5th & 6th class because Mrs Lowry had office days.
The girls in 5th & 6th patiently waited for the prize money from Primary Planet. It finally came on Thursday - a €110 cheque and it will be split between all 11 girls.
On Friday we will be having assembly. Two children from each classroom will be getting certs for their good work.
