This has been a very sporty week for the our school.
On Monday the hurling team travelled to Galmoy. Even though the team made a really good effort, we were beaten by two goals. Kalle Young and Molly Walsh played really well and the team is showing improvement.
Third and fourth classes had a hurling blitz in Piltown on Tuesday. It was organised by GAA coach James Maher. On Wednesday the camogie team lost to a very strong Conahy team. Jade O'Gorman was the star player for Windgap.
Eight badminton players represented the school in a blitz in The Watershed on Thursday. They were Jack Hayes, Oscar Young, Jamie Lomax, Kalle Young, Aisling Lynch, Karen Phelan, Niamh Doyle and Molly Walsh.
Then to round off the week, Niamh Doyle, Cliodhna O'Shea and Emily Culleton played in a handball blitz on Friday.
Have a good weekend.
