Solstice hurling blitz

Windgap GAA would like to thank everyone that helped make the Solstice hurling blitz a big success . In total there were 125 young hurlers competing together across four pitches on a sun drenched Saturday morning. We were delighted to have our near neighbours in Callan and Grangemockler and also our friends from Cloneen of which Windgap has close ties. All the children went away with a medal sponsored by the Solstice committee and plenty of refreshments. Thanks once more to everyone involved, It was a big team effort and we had lots and lots of positive feedback from the other team coaches at the end of the day.”
