Killamery, Tullahought, Kilmoganny and Boolyglass are moving South to the Piltown Electoral area. The new six seater includes the entire Parish of Windgap for the first time as previously the Tullahought area migrated between the Callan and Piltown electoral areas.
These changes are radical for the Windgap and Tullaghought Electoral divisions and present a challenge to our influential local representatives, as we are now separated from our nearest nearest urban area, in the form of our neighbours Callan.
The new Piltown Electoral area includes the following Electoral Divisions:
Aghaviller, Aglish, Ballincrea, Boolyglass, Brownsford, Castlegannon, Dunkitt, Dysartmoon, Farnoge, Fiddown, Jerpoint West, Kilbeacon, Kilbride, Kilcolumb, Kilculliheen, Kilkeasy, Killahy, Killamery, Kilmaganny, Kilmakevoge, Listerlin, Muckalee, Pilltown, Pollrone, Portnascully, Rathpatrick, Rosbercon Rural, Rossinan, Shanbogh, Templeorum, Tubbrid, Tullahought, Ullid and Whitechurch.
