Junior Club kicked off last Friday with an Easter Egg Hunt ! Lucklily the Easter Bunnies foresaw the perfect weather conditions and hid their eggs outside in the vicinity of the walkway behind the lake. There werent any eggs left behind once our troops were finished. There was lots of chocolate all round ! Well done to the junior leaders who put alot of hard work in to planning the hunt ! Back at the hall we played some easter themed games such as boiled egg hockey !! The poor eggs ! Sontae Jackson was the lucky member who guessed the number of mini chocolate eggs in the jar ..... well done Sontae .. hope you enjoyed them
We then had a visit from Joseph Kennedy and his friend Kieran. The guys explained and showed the kids two types of martial arts... Akido and Kenjutsu. They were very impressive and invited the children to participate with them. We would like to thank Joseph and Kieran for their time and thank Liz for organising.
Finally..... Junior Club returns on Friday 2nd May.... Please ensure children return with their consent forms they were given at club regarding our forthcoming trip to the Watershed. We hope all our members and their families have a lovely Easter and enjoy their break.
