An appeal is being made as in previous years for donations of Christmas Cakes and any new ideas to enhance the event will be appreciated and also more volunteers for the various stalls would be acceptable. Usual raffle tickets will be distributed during the week. Christmas Cakes in for icing on Monday.

Diocesan Youth Pilgrimage to Taizé, France organised by Ossory Youth and under the patronage of the Bishop of Ossory will take place from 17th to 24th August 2014. The Taizé community is an ecumenical monastic order in Taizé, Saone-et-Loire, Burgundy, France. Over 100,000 young people from around the world make a pilgrimage to Taizé each year. The pilgrimage is open to Transition year, 5th year and Leaving Cert students and the closing date for applications is 17th January 2014. PROGRESSIVE 25’S: (1) Weekly progressive 25’s in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny every Sunday at 8.30 p.m.; (2) The monthly Progressive 25’s in aid of Windgap Hurling Club will take place in Guinan’s, Windgap on Friday 6th December at 9.00 p.m. sharp. All are welcome; (3) the Christmas card-games continue every Thursday at Coolagh Hall for prizes of hams and hampers. You are most welcome to come along to try your hand at the hugely entertaining game of 25’s. The Christmas raffle will be held on the last Thursday before Christmas for prizes totalling €900.
