Dochas Nasamu Orphanage - in Nairobi, Kenya, which is an Irish run and Irish built Aids orphanage, are holding a used clothing appeal of ladies, gents and children’s clothes, shoes, household linens i.e. towels, sheets, blankets, soft toys, handbags etc.(whatever condition - even in need of - recycling - so long as the items are clean). MEETING RE DEVELOPMENT REPORT: (1) Community Centre, thanks was expressed to all who helped with painting etc. The electrical and emergency lights need to be assessed. (2) Playground: It was decided to survey parents; (3) Website is up and running (4) Matt Doran reported on Co. Council matters: (5) Development of linkages to walks was discussed (6) Report on Parish House, Flat roof on Church and drainage of water from Church and Grounds and entrance to Church grounds will be discussed at Parish Finance Committee; (7) Representatives will attend the Leader Training programme (8) There was a very positive response to the Christmas Morning tea etc in the Parochial House.

THE PARISH FINANCE COMMITTEE received a comprehensive report on the Parochial House, Church Flat Roof and surface water from Church and Grounds. The committee will priorities the work programme required in line with urgency of work and finances available.
