KILKENNY BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT: As part of marking the 25th anniversary of Kilkenny Bereavement Support, a series of talks is being held in the Ormond Hotel, Kilkenny. The first of these is by Dr Mark Rowe on Tuesday 2nd September at 8.00pm. The talk is entitled: “A Prescription for Happiness - new understandings of wellbeing”. You are invited to join Dr. Mark for a stimulating and entertaining evening and walk away with a tool kit for meaning and wellbeing – a prescription for cultivating inner happiness. Admission is €10.

Droichead Family Resource Centre, Callan: (1) Callan meet and train group meet every Wednesday & Thursday at 7.00 p.m. in Droichead FRC in Callan. This group is open to all. A trained leader from will offer advice on fitness and nutrition. Cost €3 per night; (2) Men’s Fitness Programme: This group will begin on Thurs Sept 25th at 6.00 p.m..
