ANNIVERSARY MASSES: When more than one anniversary is included at a weekend mass, those prayed for will be included in masses during the following week.

WINDGAP PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING REPORT: (a) The Deanery Pastoral Council intends to conduct a survey of Young people and their views in the New year; (b) The New Catechism for Adults is available and study evenings of the catechism it is hopes will be conducted during Lent; (c) You are requested to keep the door of the Church in Windgap closed; (d) Mass for bereaved families will take place in St. Nicholas’ Church, Windgap on Friday 7th November at 7.30 p.m. All are welcome; (d) Christmas eve mass this year will be in St. Nicholas’ Church, Tullahought at 6.00 p.m; (e) The sacrament of Reconciliation will be celebrated during week-end masses prior to Christmas.
*****************************************************************************************MASS FOR BEREAVED: A special mass for families in the Parish who were bereaved, especially during the past year 2013 – 2014, will be celebrated in St. Nicholas’ Church, Windgap on Friday 7th November. A cup of tea will be available in the Parochial House afterwards. All are very welcome.
*****************************************************************************************DROICHEAD FAMILY RESORCE CENTRE, CALLAN: Pilates: A chair based exercise class will begin on Monday, November 3rd and will commence for 6 weeks. The class will begin at 10.45am. Participants can enjoy a cup of tea after the class. The cost will be €10 for the 6 weeks. Please book your place.An Apprenticeship Workshop will be held on Weds, Oct 29th at 3pm in Droichead FRC. This information session will offer advice on the access route to all apprenticeship. i.e: Motor mechanics, electrician, block laying etc.
A 6 week deep relaxation course (meditation led) will run in Droichead FRC starting Friday, Oct 31st at 11am until 12pm. The course will cost €10 for the 6 weeks.

*****************************************************************************************FUNDRAISING EVENT: AdVIC, a charity which works closely with the families of homicide victims are holding a fundraising event in the Rive Court Hotel on Saturday 1st November. Music is by Bench Warrant. There is no admission charge but donations are welcome on the night or for the raffle. Further details from John Whelan 087 – 1252395.

NOVEMBER 1ST Feast of All Souls is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses for the Feast Day are on Friday 31st Oct in Kilmoganny at 7.00 p.m. and in other churches on Saturday 1st November at Sunday times.
