HANDBALL FOR ALL: Windgap hosted its greatest day of handball action when the 40x20 alley and the two One Wall handball courts were in action from early morning till dusk. Present on Friday last were players and families from Tyrone, Monaghan, Laois, Wexford Armagh and Kilkenny. The group came together for group training for the forthcoming World Championships in Calgary in Canada. The session was led by Ducksie Walsh the recent winner of the National One Wall title in Breafy and one of the greatest indoor players in the world. Amongst the clubs represented were Carrickmore, Loughmacrory, Monaghan Harps, Armagh, Cullohill, Galmoy, Windgap, Kells, Kilfane and Talbots Inch. Ranging in age from under elevens to adult it also saw senior players Gavin Buggy and Daniel Kavanagh of Wexford Dan Breen, Ducksie and Ciaran Neary take part. The big event takes place in Calgary from 11th and 21st of August
