Eoin Ryan was presented with Home Cook Hero Award by TV3's Martin King at an award ceremony in The Shelbourne Hotel, on Saturday night. 30 finalists for ten categories were selected, and a cook-off took place in 'The Cooks academy' in Dublin on Saturday morning. All finalists presented their dish to judges Catherine Fulvio, TV chef/proprietor, food writer and tutor, Paul Flynn, chef and owner of Tannery Restaurant and Townhouse Cookery School, and Gina Miltidou, publisher and co-founder of Easy Food Magazine. Eoin won the category for best burger, with his lamb and nan burger. The cook-off and awards ceremony will be televised on TV3 at 1.40 on Saturday 15th November.
